| The Greater Phoenix Chapter No. 98, NAWIC, recently announced its newly established endowment fund.
Proceeds from the sale of the Construction DictionaryŠ are currently held
in an account from which educational scholarships are awarded. By converting
this regular account to an endowment (perpetual) fund, we are able to also
accumulate earnings on the unused portion of the funds thus allowing us a
greater opportunity to award more scholarships from the distributions.
The name of the new fund is the Lodine Robinson NAWIC
Endowment Fund.
Lodine, or as she's known by everyone in NAWIC as Lodi, is a charter member
of the Greater Phoenix Chapter No. 98, the last remaining active charter member,
and never misses a meeting or an event.
Lodi is very special to our chapter and its workings. Without her never-diminishing
enthusiasm, positive attitude, and "hip, hip, hoorays", the Greater Phoenix
Chapter would not be what it is.
We thank Lodi for being a most important part of our chapter and to the chapter for its foresight in making the endowment fund a reality. |
